Location adjacent to Oriental Parade and restaurants, and Oriental Bay, which sells excellent empanadas. Nearby Coene's Bar & Eatery - great place to chill out. Extremely clean building and rooms on our bedroom.

I got a well decorated and warm room with view. The cost was me$ 140. It was adjacent to New Zealand as well as restaurants, best possible location overall.

The location was amazing, just a stone's throw away from the beautiful Oriental Parade and a short walk to the bustling restaurants and shops. We loved being able to easily explore the area and indulge in delicious meals without having to travel far. the host was friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home.

It was frustrating to not be informed about the check-in time and to have to scramble to make sure we had enough cash on hand. the shared bathroom situation was inconvenient, especially having to trek upstairs in the middle of the night.

I had a very lovely stay for 2 nights. the hotel is quirky and in a great area close to Oriental Bay beach, restaurants, and bars. - the single room with a shared bathroom on a different level was comfortable. - I enjoyed the beautiful views I was given. - the location was ideal, only a 10-15 minute walk from Wellington Museum.

We had a wonderful time during our stay and loved the warm and friendly host. The room was immaculate and beautifully presented, and the spacious shared bathroom was spotless. The host provided invaluable local tips and had a great sense of humor. We also enjoyed the stunning sea view from the hidden patio area, where we savored a glass of wine. Additionally, the location was perfect, with a scenic waterfront walk to town and easy access to the airport.

    Would recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay at B And B On Hay Street By the Sea. Jenny, the owner, made me feel right at home. the location is excellent, just a minute away from the beach and a short walk to the center. the continental breakfast was a nice touch, and Jenny was flexible with the timing. the hosts were friendly and the bathrobes provided were a special touch. the B&B room was comfortable and the garden patio offered stunning views of the bay. There is also a great little cafe nearby that sells delicious empanadas. I highly recommend this B&B for its quirky charm and lovely hosts.
